MAR 22, 2017 – It’s safe to say that Top Dawg Entertainment helped propel a new age revival of west coast rap with the fame of Kendrick Lamar and the depths of its supporting cast with artists like Ab – Soul, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock and SZA. Though not from California himself, the Chatanooga, TN native Isaiah Rashad has an obvious West Coast influence laced in his smooth singalong melodic rap style.
In support of his latest release The Sun’s Tirade, Rashad played two sold-out shows in Vancouver at Fortune Sound Club. His set was energetic from beginning to end, showing no signs of fatigue from such a strenuous tour schedule.
