Nominations were announced for the Much Music Video Awards today and three of the five videos were from Vancouver!
Matt Brevner & Madchild’s cinematic opus ‘Jitters’ directed by David McDonald received a nod. This video also placed in the Much Music Top Ten Videos of 2012.
SonReal & Rich Kidd’s video for ‘Hometown’, a track from their Closers EP was also selected. The video features scenes from both Vernon and Toronto and was directed by Liam Mitchell.
CBC announced earlier this year that K-os now considers himself a Vancouverite and we are more than happy to take him! His video for ‘NYCE 2 Know Ya’ was filmed at the Waldorf and various other locations around Vancouver.
