Stroker DeLuca’s – Private Collection

Vancouver, BC – On Friday November 6th, local hip-hop music producer Stroker DeLuca dropped Stroker DeLuca’s Private Collection, a compilation featuring staple hip-hop artists from the Vancouver area.

DeLuca’s production style is a catchy one and the beats used on these tracks are immediately captivating. After listening to the first track on the compilation you immediately want to listen to the next track to see if the next one is just as smooth and catchy as the previous.

There were definitely some tracks that stood out, especially “All I Ever Had” featuring Merkules, “Kirin Ichiban” featuring ChakaBoy, Fatt Matt & John Brown, and “Wheels Keep Turning” featuring Tom Macdonald was especially stand-out. The very phrase “the wheels keep turning” is easily stuck in the listener’s head – not only is that a high point on the track but Tom Macdonald also has a very nice flow that is easy to listen to.

DeLuca’s style seems to be about producing tracks with a sleek and easy beat, so having a track or two with a more uptempo beat would really get the hype going and would definitely make the compilation more interesting. Adding that kind of variety to the compilation could bring it closer towards brilliance and provide the twist needed to really capture attention.

This compilation was meant to be a catalogue of some of the great talent located here in Vancouver. Stroker DeLuca producing all of these tracks and having these artists share their work on it was a great way for them to showcase their art to the public. Overall the entire compilation was done very well. Stroker DeLuca did a great job incorporating his velvety style with every track. The production was clean and the overall product was a masterpiece. Cheers to you Stroker DeLuca for this compilation – a job well done.
