Kyirim revisited Vancouver earlier this year to record Mic Cheque at Feel & Think Studios with his producer & friend Young DeVito. The 4-song E.P. features two west coast underground heavyweights: Moka Only (known from Battle Axe & Swollen Members) & Myka 9 (of Freestyle Fellowship, Project Blowed & Haiku D’etat).
Kyirim’s ongoing goal as an artist is to inspire, uplift, and get his audience to think deep and have fun. Mic Cheque embodies slick punch-line lyricism, unique flow, humor & spirituality.
There’s much more to come from Kyirim & Young DeVito. Mic Cheque is the first in a series of E.P.’s that are in the works to be released in the near future.
