Bay Area underground hip hop was definitely in the house last weekend in Vancouver, as Venue Nightclub played host to Blackalicious (Gift of Gab and DJ Chief Xcel), Lyrics Born and Lateef the Truthspeaker (Latryx). The rappers who represent the California collective Quannum MCs, were back in in Van City to perform to a crowd of hip hop purists and connoisseurs of funky breaks and beats.
