Thursday, January 26 – Hailing from Koreatown, Los Angeles Dumbfoundead isn’t just a rapper. The 30-year-old emcee is also a critically acclaimed battle rapper who has been active on the scene since the early Grindtime days and his battle with Conceited is the most viewed KOTD battle of all time on YoutTube. Not only that but Dumb is also an actor, and this multi-talented persona transcends into his well polished live performance.
Joined by fellow Korean rappers, the duo of JL and Lyriks aka Year Of the OX, Dumbfoundead played to a sold out crowd at the Alexander Gastown. His set was laced with some classics like the heartfelt ‘Are We there Yet’ and a bunch of new joints from his late 2016 release We Might Die. Dumbs banter with the crowd was equally as entertaining as the songs themselves and definitely a show well worth the price of admission.
