On Sept. 25th/16, the Waldorf Hotel parking lot was turned into a giant BBQ dance party hosted and curated by DJ Skratch Bastid. Headlining the event was none other than the legendary DJ Premier (Gangstarr/PRhyme) along with POMO, Nina Mendoza, Live Evil (Kutcorners & DJ Marvel), Fatt Matt, Rhek, Nick Bike and Smalltown DJs.
Vancouver Island’s DJ All Good brought The Turntemple, allowing us to witness Def3 add another painting on the side, hastily composing a mural of DJ Premier. The footage shows Preemo and Mekhi Phifer rolling up on Def3 before he hit the stage and returning afterwards to sign it. Overall, it was an amazing event that closed off the summer season with a bang!!
