After releasing his worldwide smash collab Duckface with Epwhurd in 2015 on Spinnin’ Records, Vancouver’s Dkay returns with his new jam White Whine released via his own label, Leftside Music Group.
Dkay teams up with fellow VanCity artist and frequent collaborator Tecumseh to tease the lead single from their forthcoming joint EP expected later this summer. The duo provide a vibrant new banger, “White Wine” that draws from their Jamaican backgrounds while paying homage to the golden era of dancehall.
With their unique sound and West Coast flavour Dkay and Tecumseh are grinding to shed light on the budding Vancouver scene. Their Leftside movement has caught fire in Vancouver and given the city their own wave to take pride in. Their first official Leftside event in Vancouver this past April united the city and was a sell-out success featuring appearances by Boi1da and Tinashe.
