Bastid’s BBQ 2025

It was one of those scorching days where the heat just seemed to fuel the party. Every DJ was locked in, feeding off the crowd’s energy and throwing it right back.
Vinyl Richie dropped old TV-show theme tunes, the crowd was grinning and guessing as he rolled through a digital 45 set, since it was too hot to mess with real wax. Jaykin popped out with The Freshest.
Skratch Bastid cranked things up with his signature party-rock mash-ups, heavy scratching, and boundless energy. With a huge smile, he kept the vibe alive, slipping in hits from local hip hop legends The Rascalz and Swollen Members.
Mix Master Mike came out swinging—full throttle from the first beat. No let-up. He bounced around the stage, fists pumping, and, as always, pulled off his set without headphones—just pure skill. His Beastie Boys remixes tore the place up, mashing into heavy guitar scratches and pounding beats in trademark MMM style.
All in all? A perfect, sun-soaked Sunday of food, beats, and community at The Birdhouse.
