Not nearly as prolific as some of his colleagues in King of the Dot, Aspire is nonetheless a skilled and talented emcee. With a history that includes some controversy in his battles, the Van City representative has still been in the ring with some of the greats from today’s battling circuit, such as Soul Khan, The Saurus and Dirtbag Dan. Known for his style that focuses heavily on humor and wit, Aspire has shown he can hang with the top dogs through his battling resume. Back on King of the Dot cameras for the first time in over twelve months, Aspire gives the up and comer Pigsty a chance to take a shot at a veteran.

Arguably the most successful newcomer from the Ground Zero division, Pigsty has been putting in work like no other recently. With approximately 9 battles in a years time, the amateur won’t remain as such for much longer, as he has already taken on challengers such as Wize Guy, Rupert Common and Fingaz. With an energetic flow paired nicely with his unique humor and bars, Pigsty has shown that his transition to the King of the Dot mainstage will be successful and well received. Now with a shot against one of his biggest opponents to date, will Pigsty have what it takes to knock off Aspire? Or will the vet come with enough ammo to stifle Pigsty’s rise to the top?

Having taken a brief step back from battling in order to continue managing his KOTD West division, Calgary president Sketch Menace is back in the ring. As one of the former King of the Dot champions, Sketch has proven that he is one of the best that Canada has to offer, having squared off against some of the best from North America to secure his position. Over the course of his career, the Calgary native has been in the ring with PH, Dirtbag Dan, Anecdote, and Bender, the latter of whom the title chain was claimed from. After making a run in the 2 vs. 2 2011 Grand Prix with teammate Nebula, Sketch Menace kept himself busy running his division, hosting various events and taking the occasional battle. Utilizing a style that combines a confident performance with direct and heavy handed punchlines, Sketch is not an emcee to be taken lightly in the battle circuit. Now taking on Loe Pesci, Sketch will have his hands full as he faces one of his toughest opponents yet.
One of the best battlers that Canada has to offer, Loe Pesci has succeeded in making himself one of the most polarizing emcees in the league. With his signature practiced ambivalence, Pesci has earned himself a unique reputation built on his often faulty memory and vicious battling persona. Not always as prepared as he maybe should be, when the Montreal resident brings his A game, there are very few, if any, battlers in the world who can hang with him. Known for never pulling punches, Loe often goes for the neck with reckless abandon, mixing a brash delivery with a deadly pen game. With classic battles against fellow veterans Bender, Marv Won and Ness Lee, Pesci was also the first Canadian battler to be invited to battle in New York City, beating a young DNA in his hometown. Also a former KOTD president, the manager of the Montreal division faces off against the Calgary division leader in this clash of top tier Canadians.

Known by many in the Ground Zero scene, Pigsty has been working his way through the GZ ranks for the past several months. Bettering himself with each showing, the North Vancouver emcee faced off against the likes of DVS, Wize Guy and Manik. Continuing to hone his abilities, Pigsty consistently comes with creative angles paired with an ever improving delivery and flow. Showing advancement, Pigsty make his official King of the Dot debut in his first battle out of the Ground Zero league. Headlining the November Reign event against heavy hitter Fingaz, the recent GZ graduate is going to need every bit of his skills and momentum to claim the victory.
Staying on his grind, Fingaz is ensuring that his abilities remain sharp by continuing to accept battles with more consistency than most. Coming off of an impressive Grand Prix run in which he lost to the eventual winner of his bracket, Fingaz followed up with an impressive clash against now renowned UK battler, Shotty Horroh, in what is one of the most popular battles coming out of World Domination 3. Having successfully made the transition into being a much more content and bars driven battler, Fingaz is able to weave complex schemes and punches seamlessly with an smooth and versatile flow. Going up against Pigsty, Fingaz will need to stay on his game to avoid getting upset by the rapidly rising Ground Zero threat.
