Floyd began his music career in 2013 and has since performed in Europe and Asia with big acts like Kendrick Lamar, Kid Ink, Onyx, and Kaskade. He has also released projects that have been positively received by multiple media outlets. Through his music, one can hear the hunger for success in his voice and the love for his art through his expression. Although Vancouver is often overlooked as a hub for talented hip-hop artists, Floyd is on a mission to create a name for himself and his city. He’s always looking for a way to connect with fans individually either through pop-up shows, sending out upcoming materials to his fans for review, or building a relationship with fans through social media. To him, getting positive feedback from fans has been his greatest achievement. He says, “through these reassurances from people all over the world it just gives me more reason to not get caught up in wave changes and focus on my authenticity as an artist.”
