Fatty Down – Sippin a beer (Remix) Ft. Evil Ebenezer & Kyprios

Evil & Kyprios hopped on the remix to Fatty’s Beer Drinking anthem and Stuey Kubrick filmed it!

Q. This looks like it was a lot of fun to shoot, what was the best part about working with Evil and Kyprios?

A. To date it’s still one of the best and funniest days on a video shoot. Being that Evil, Kyprios and myself all tend to have a sense of humour and adding a lot of endless Cariboo into the mix made it quite the day. The best thing working alongside those guys was just the fact we all had talked about connecting on something for so long musically and we all had something extremely busy going on at the time so the video coming to life was a huge bonus!

Q. Stuey Kubrick has done a lot of amazing videos since this one dropped, did you know at that point how prolific he would be in the Vancouver hiphop scene?

A. Absolutely Stuey is a multi faceted talented guy with a different take on each direction. You could see even then that he had his own lane and it was good to get in and ride along on this video!

Q. You guys are really having a good time in this video. Can you share any behind the scenes stories with us?

A. I don’t remember much after being pulled into the hot tub. Hahaha! Honestly the whole day was blurry, we pretty much did a guerilla shoot so we got kicked out of a ton of places, and the house we shot the video in was my friend Marks place… well he didn’t tell his significant other so when she arrived home from work she was shocked to find half naked girls in the living room and house full of extremely intoxicated people! I told her to blame Cariboo brewing. They made me do it. Ps thanks Cariboo brewing. -BOOYAH. (That’s the fam)

Q. What’s been happening with Fatty Down since this video dropped?

A. Since ‘Sipping a Beer’ dropped I’ve been working on mostly singles with my label Wandering Worx and writing outside my comfort zones for some other artist and expanding my music to film and television. I’m also working on the Fatty Down & Attikus (Fattikus) project. And headed to your Europe for the first time later this year.

Q. Do you have any shows coming up? Where can the fans find you this summer?

A. Yes I have a show this week at the Railway club in Vancouver April 29th and this summer looking to head across the border and most likely do some dates in Canada as well. For the most part writing, recording and getting ready for Europe.
